I've always been an art and computer graphics enthusiast, developed good drawing skills and pioneered 3d CGI at the times of Amiga (Imagine, Lightwave 3D).
After graduating in electronics engineering I've specialized in optical and mechanical design, developing high proficiency in Pro|ENGINEER, a tool I still use for my side projects.
I think I'll have to make Exploriens someday, I like that serie, although there are not so many sets in the franchise. UFO is another story, I admit it's fun and quite inventive, but the use of "super-pieces" to obtain easily some shapes annoys me...
BTW I don't have much spare time right now, I still have a couple of rendering to complete, but my PC crashed badly (cooked hard drive, a nightmare), therefore all my LEGO projects are postponed :/
